Committee Purpose or Mission:

The Communications and Marketing Committee shall enhance the visibility of NRZs and Hartford NEXT, Inc. in the larger community.

Type of Committee:

The Communications and Marketing Committee is a standing committee of the Board.

Activities, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a quarterly newsletter to NRZs and Community
  • Develop and implement the Communication and Marketing Plan that links to the overall HNXT plan (Change Agenda) and that supports the work of
    • The Governance Committee to engage NRZ members and grow individual NRZ membership
    • The Development Committee to encourage community investment in HNXT
    • The Program Committee to encourage community participation in all programs
  • Update and maintain an HNXT information brochure
  • Identify and maintain a diverse list of media with contacts as appropriate
  • Promote HNXT and its programs and events, design communication & marketing materials, and placement.
